Founder & Executive DirectorSuccess Ojo is a developmental worker with over 18 years of experience. A passionate individual who cares about the role of nonprofit in achieving the sustainable development goals. Success Ojo is the Founder and Executive Director of Knowledge Aid Initiative (KAI) She oversees a crucial part in the management of the Organization. She is equally sold out to creating opportunities for Africa's poorest, most vulnerable and excluded people most especially children. women and children. A multiple award winner from organizations in recognition her capacity building efforts for CSOs and youth, She currently is a board member of Gofrican Texas and African center for Human advancement and development. Her core specialties are gender, Monitoring and Evaluation, Strengthening civil society, Human Rights, Women's equality organizations and institutions, Social mitigation of HIV/AIDS, child protection and development, Sexual health of young people, Rural Development and social entrepreneurship. Success has launched many platforms to challenge the status quo in the development sector and change the way we think about scale, impact, and sustainability. She is the founder of BSB Social enterprise Academy ; a social enterprise accelerator working with high impact social business owners get clarity, people and the capital they need to start and scale their impact. promotes social enterprise as a model of doing business. She has contributed to various publications, including The Guardian and Gofrican Social Innovation Review, and speaks regularly at major events, such as Ngoinsider Global Development Conference. Recently, she was the keynote speaker at the Winning Women In tech and development Conference. She is also an active supporter of fundraising activities and initiatives for victims of domestic violence, homelessness and cancer research. Success ojo holds a Bachelor of Science in Child and family studies from Federal University of Agriculture Abeokuta, Nigeria and a Master of Social works from University of western cape , South Africa . She is a graduate of INSEAD’s Social Entrepreneurship program and attended Stanford Business School’s Executive Program in Social Entrepreneurship. She is certified in early childhood education.
Bar. Ikeoluwa Adare
Her great passion is revealed by the several firms she has worked with; Legal Aid Council, a Federal Government Agency, established to provide free legal services to indigent persons. She worked assiduously, visiting inmates, appearing in Courts and pursuing their defence vigorously, and securing the release of some. Musibau Adetunbi & Co., as a Commercial and a Criminal Law Lawyer, which also severally takes up the defence of accused persons pro bono. Tunde & Adisa as a Corporate Law Lawyer,and a Legal Analyst at Grace Info Tech, an IT Company that produces ‘Law Pavilion’ – an Electronic Law Report and Research Software to help Lawyers, Judges, Magistrates etc in the administration of Justice.
She is presently the Admin/Program Manager of Knowledge Aid Initiative. She sees to the day to day running of the Organization and all its programs in Africa. She has written several articles for churches, KAI and BSB Academia, and has been instrumental in training several startups
and moving their ideas to reality. She currently resides in Ibadan with her Husband, ‘Tayo Adare, the Lead Pastor of the Faith Rest Assembly and Streams, and their daughter, Hephzibah, and she leads the Women and the Welfare team in the Church.
Her educational background includes B.L from the University of Ado Ekiti, Nigeria and LL.B from the Nigerian Law School, Kano. She is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association She is a lover of God and his people, and a dedicated woman, youth and kids advocate. She loves writing, travelling, reading inspiring stories and listening to great music.
Natasha Rehoboth (Msc.)
Senior Administrator/ M&ENatasha has over 12 years’ administration experience gained from roles both here in Australia and United States. She held the position of senior administrator with Toyota in Christchurch for many years before taking on similar roles at Home Ideas Centre and Minolta oil & gas. Natasha joined knowledge Aid Initiative in 2017 and now provides invaluable administration She also oversees all data collection and analysis that inform strategic planning in the organization. She manages KAI systems that include everything from client interactions to analysis of what is working, what is not, and why. She is in charge of the process by which we create qualitative and quantitative reports that keep us accountable to both our board and the community. Natasha is dedicated to the not-for-profit sector and has volunteered for a number of community organizations including the Trees of Hope Inc. She was also a volunteer for United ways USA for more than five years.
Dr. Olawale Abodunrin Peters
Program Officer/Medical Outreach ServicesOlawale Abodunrin Peters was born and bred in Lagos City of Nigeria, an indigene of Ogun State, Odogbolu, western region of Nigeria.He attended Yaba College of Technology where he earned a National Diploma in Science Laboratory Technology and further gained admission into the prestigious University of Lagos where he studied Medicine and Surgery and bagged a professional degree of Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery from the prestigious, College of Medicine, University of Lagos (UNILAG), Nigeria and was also privileged to be the Leader and President of the student body of the College of Medicine and Pharmaceutical Sciences Student's Association (COMPSSA, 2012/13 executive year). Dr. Peters Olawale is passionate about bridging the gap via development of quality healthcare programs that would address these health-related issues. Olawale Abodunrin Peters currently works with Knowledge Aid Initiative (KAI) as the Program Officer/Medical Outreach Services, and working on the Organization’s Sexual Reproductive and Violence Project by designing specialized programs for victims/survivors, providing medical care and help etc. The project is designed for overall societal development via prompt and quality healthcare services to target people in a community and the society at large with the vision to better the lots of the people and improve their quality of life.
Amughan, Alex Thompson
Program CoordinatorAmughan, Alex Thompson is the Programme Officer/Humanitarian Officer of the Knowledge Aids Initiative. He speaks Hausa, Yoruba, Igbo, Efik, Ibibio and Ijaw and is an indigene of Edo State from Southern Nigeria. Currently, his work is Coordinating, Managing and implementing the Knowledge Aid Initiative’s (KAI) programs and humanitarian Services in the Northern Region of Nigeria with base in Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja. He is also responsible for Sustainability Planning, KAI programmes and Facilities at KAI workshops in the Northern Nigeria, and also is saddled with the responsibility of developing Concepts, Tours, Outreaches and implementing programmes for the organization’s growth and expansion in the Northern Nigeria. He is a Certified Associate Cooperate Administrator from the National Institute of Cooperate Administration of Nigeria (NlCAN), and a Final year student of the National Open University of Nigeria, B.Sc Peace Studies and Conflict Resolution. He also is a trained Protocol Officer, Event/Project Manager. He is also an experienced Administrative Officer with the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Abuja, an instructor for Children, Teenagers, Youths with the Children/Teenage Ministry of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, a Freelance Photographer and an Entrepreneur, a Public Speaker, Motivational Speaker, a Counsellor and an Event Organizer. He is a Life and Sports Coach with the passion to groom, train and mentor the upcoming Generation. His hobbies are travelling, singing gospel music, reading, meeting and making friends.
Ojo, Solomon Emmanuel
Public Relations/ Brand ManagerOjo, Solomon Emmanuel is the Public Relations/ Brand Manager of the Knowledge Aid Initiative (KAI). He speaks Yoruba and English language, He is an indigene of Ekiti State from Southwest Nigeria. He is the Public Relations/Brand Manager of Knowledge Aid Initiative (KAI), managing her reputation, adapting a brand strategy for the Organization's target market and maintaining her brand integrity across all company marketing initiatives and communications in the world. He is also responsible for facilitating KAI programs and all of her travel logistics across the world. He is a Certified Travel Specialist from Pro Travel Network (PTN) California, USA and a graduate of Mathematics from the University of Ibadan, also a trained Project/Data Development officer, Event Facilitator and Brand Ambassador. Ojo, Solomon Emmanuel is a Media Consultant to Rock Media, the Media arm of House on the Rock, Lagos, a professional photographer to many organizations and foundations. He is a media partner of African Business Travel Association (ABTA) South Africa, The African Leader/Representative of Global Platinum Services (GPS) Texas, USA with the mandate of expanding the brand in Africa, by providing Travel Club Membership, Travel Agent Training Program, Our Referral Program and our Travel Escape Programs building bridges in Africa to the rest of the world. He is a sold-out Entrepreneur, Event Facilitator, Speaker, Writer and a Leader. Before working at KAI, he worked as the Leader/Pioneer of The Tabernacle (TT) an organization reaching out to secondary schools in Ibadan, empowering the younger generation mentally and skillfully. He was the studio manager at Ymages Studio, Ibadan, Oyo State, the Company Facilitator at Opinion Former, Lagos Nigeria, the Publication/Distribution and Advert Manager of Avantgarde Magazine, Lagos Nigeria, The Event Coverage Officer at RCCG City of David, Victoria Island Lagos, The Chief Creative Artist at Solomon King Media which majors in event coverage, branding on international level. His hobbies are reading, researching, speaking, making friends and traveling.
Jimoh Oluwatobi Segun
Media and Public Communications OfficerJimoh Oluwatobi Segun Is A Podcaster, Web Developer/Designer, and a Global Change Agent. Jimoh currently works with Knowledge Aid Initiative (KAI) as a Media and Public Communications Officer. He oversees the management of the Organization’s website, blog and monthly newsletters. He is an avid writer and he has passion for stories that exposes the suffering of the masses and the upliftment of the community. He has worked as a Web Developer with Youngtec Computers Academy and as the website administrator for The CEO's Platform. YCA Is a Computer Institute where both young and adults are being trained to be experts in Web Designing and Development. He launched a podcast show sometime around June 2016 which is tagged NGOpodcast Show" with the goal of "Bringing the World’s Nongovernmental Organizations to limelight" by becoming an intermediary between them and everyone around the world. The show interviews the Founder, Team Lead or Volunteer of different NGOs existing in different part of the world with the view to opening them up and examining their roles and impact in their society. With this He believes the VOICE OF NGOs will be heard around the world. Jimoh believes that the gift of a man is bound to give him lift provided he will Discover, Nurture, & Deploy It.
Media and Public Communications OfficerOloruntoba Yusuf is a researcher and broadcast journalist with experience in News Reading, Analysis and investigation. He is driven by the desire to explore and utilize the strength of the media to unearth solutions to key societal issues. He holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in History and Strategic Studies, University of Lagos and he is currently a Post Graduate Student at the Department of Peace and Conflict Studies, University of Ibadan. He loves to work with a team of thinkers and innovators, using hitherto-thought impossible techniques that will make the basic needs of life available for all. He currently works with Knowledge Aid Initiative (KAI) as a Media and Public Communications Officer.
